The Petrie School of Music, in collaboration with Wofford College, presents Violins of Hope, a project of concerts based on a private collection of violins, violas and cellos collected since the end of World War II. All instruments belonged to Jews before and during the war, with many donated by or bought from survivors. This event will feature a performance on the instruments by Dr. Courtney LeBauer and students Ivana Carlson, Allana Farmer, and Adriana Stamile, accompanied by Dr. Steven Graff, piano. Featuring guest speakers Dr. James Grymes and Holocaust survivor Al Miller. May 9, 2022 in Daniel Recital Hall at Converse University. Program: shorturl.at/gmDKQ
